• - Includes an air flow pump integrated into the stuff sack for quick and easy inflation. Using the Bernoulli effect means the Airstream can be inflated with a single breath and quickly fills the Sea to Summit air mat with minimal breath condensation. By flipping the Pumpsack it is compatible with our smaller 15mm mini multi-function valve, now included in the updated Aeros range. The new Airstream Pumpsack combo weighs between 37g and 60g depending on mat size and model.

• - Air Sprung Cells - ASC is the core technology of the sleeping pad range, and it's why you'll sleep better on a Sea to Summit sleeping pad. Instead of the typical fuzzy construction, Sea to Summit sleeping pads are constructed using spot welding to create a large surface area matrix of interconnected chambers called air spring cells. Similar to a pocket sprung mattress, as each Air Sprung Cell deforms independently, the pad conforms to the shape of your body, which feels softer and more comfortable, maintaining a larger body contact area and even pressure distribution
• - Comfort Plus Series - Dual Layer Design - The dual layer construction uses two independent high-definition layers, providing greater sensitivity by distributing body weight and shape across multiple cells. The two layers are offset to provide more even insulation and cushioning. The Comfort Plus range provides the most efficient system for fine-tuning comfort levels available on any air mattress today. When on uneven or bumpy terrain, the bottom layer of the mattress can be inflated to a high pressure to act as a barrier. The top layer can then be adjusted, using the fine-tuning valve, to a lower pressure for a softer, more comfortable feel. The dual layer design also provides a level of built-in redundancy. If one layer of the mattress does puncture, you can still get through the night with the other layer of the mattress intact.
• - Thermal insulation technology - Exkin Platinum is a very light, quiet non-woven fabric with a thin metallized layer applied to its surface. Exkin Platinum's thermal technology reflects radiant heat loss back to the user.
• - Thermolite insulation, designed for superior performance, is made from specially engineered fibers to achieve a high CLO value at a low weight. Thermolite HL-1 high loft insulation is a fiberfill made with a unique 3D corrugated hollow core and solid fibers that provide superior lightweight warmth and superior strength. Thermolite insulation rises up in air spring cells to prevent convective heat loss from a warm body to the cold ground.
• - Exkin Platinum and Thermolite are perfectly combined in each of the insulated versions of our mats.
• - Multi-function Valve - To make inflation and deflation easier, Sea to Summit has designed a multi-function valve. Our valve features an integrated inflation port with a one-way valve to prevent air loss before the valve seals, a quick-release air vent, and a fine-tuning knob for comfort—all in one compact, low-profile unit.< /li>
• - The inflation and deflation pull knobs are tactile and color-coded for easy identification.
• - 30/40D Nylon Face Fabric - STS developed the 30/40D nylon face fabric to achieve a balance between weight and strength. The 40D warp yarn (which runs lengthwise, providing the fabric framework) adds strength, while the 30D weft yarn (woven into the warp yarn) reduces the overall weight of the fabric and creates a textured weave. On the inside, STS applies a bright white extrusion laminated TPU to make the fabric airtight and weldable. On the outside, STS applies a thin acrylic coating to reduce surface slip, increase puncture resistance, and facilitate puncture repair using self-adhesive patches.
• - Extrusion TPU Lamination - STS TPU coating is applied using a process that is unique to the medical and aerospace industries. Extrusion lamination is more durable, consistent, and allows us to use our own TPU recipe. This is significantly superior to the roll-to-roll lamination currently used in all outdoor products, which is prone to delamination issues.
• - All Sea to Summit Air Sprung Cell mats include a small repair kit containing six self-adhesive patches designed for field puncture repairs and a replacement silicone one-way valve flap.
